Our son, Moses Samson, is SWAGNIFICENT.
Since his new arts school (charter!)(free!) allows certain inalienable liberties in dress and such, Moze got a mohawk in order to commemorate his impending freedom from "The Man".
We previously had Moses' haircut at a cute quaint place called Little Chops. The little ones play with trains and other childhood fodder while they wait for their names to be called, and then sit in chairs shaped like planes, trains, and automobiles. L.C. has a list of movies your kiddo has previously selected and they watch TV as their tiny precocious follicles are being snipped. Quite fancy pants.
However, this is a Recession, folks. That means no $17 haircuts for you, child o' mine.
Thus, we have been going to Fantastic Sams in my hood, which is, quite literally, in the hood. A wonderful woman named Jenny sculpted Moses' hair into a phenomenal young mohawk. For $8.99.
His enthusiasm before, during, and after is shown here for your viewing enjoyment.
So, if you happen to be feeling a bit shaggy and are schlepping around the area of 57th Avenue and Northern Avenue in Glendale, Arizona, give The Grand Jenny a visit.
And!
I love you, my Moses.
xoxoxo,
t.
Awesome. Start to finish. :)
